I'm a web developer, designer and systems engineer with a strong focus on cutting edge open source technologies, frameworks and libraries predominantly in the Javascript eco-system. I have built full stack, database-driven web applications, ecommerce solutions and lightning fast statically generated content-centric websites.
Tailscale uses Wireguard at its core, but introduces some unique features that make it a perfect choice for remote teams. Although it's easy to set up, it's also very powerful and flexible. I can help unlock its full potential.
Having embraced Wireguard when it was first included in the Linux kernel, I'm become very familiar with its capabilities, quirks and best practices. I use Wireguard in almost all of my projects in one form or another.
I'm well-versed in the intricacies of OpenVPN, including the newer introductions such as kernel-level data channel offloading for vastly improved performance over wide area networks.
A mainstay in the open source firewall router market, I've managed pfSense environments that are still running securely and efficiently ten year after deployment.
Spawned from the same codebase as pfSense, OPNsense is a powerful and flexible firewall and routing platform with a stronger focus on open source and community involvement with more regular updates and packages.
